Lombard, her husband, Gerhard, and their daughter, Marie-Louise Nel, are the owners of De Oude Kraal Country Estate and Spa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the festival is to showcase the wide variety of gourmet game dishes available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lombard believes that game is one of the best proteins for winter dishes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe process begins with female animals for the best quality meats, aged in the correct manner and divided into different cuts of meat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMany people don\u2019t realise the true potential of venison in South Africa.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lunch and wine tasting will start at 11:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tickets cost R550, while children aged 13 to 17 pay R250 and those aged 6 to 12 pay R150. Tickets for the VIP experience, which includes exclusive food and wine tastings and access to the VIP lounge, cost R950.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
