Laughter has a healing effect in even the darkest of times. The Mangaung Weekend of Laughter is set to illustrate this with ten acts over two days in the Bloemfontein Civic Theatre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This stand-up comedy event takes place on Thursday (22\/09) and Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The comics who are billed to enthral comedy lovers promise to offer a powerhouse of experiences designed to empower young people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is envisaged that the event will be staged in the Free State capital annually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is organised by local philanthropist and comedian Joseph Sebeho, who will be among the acts to get people laughing. His stage name is Kagisure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Others billed to perform include King Flat, Rasta Eye n Eye, Jay Boogie, Teboho Goodenough, Pelepele, Siya Seya and Gaopalelwe Gaeswe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Sebeho, two surprise acts will feature alongside the billed comics performing per show on the two days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both shows are scheduled to start at 18:00. Tickets cost R200. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
