It is alleged that the dog mauled the boy to death after escaping from its enclosure and jumping over the fence se\u00adparating the two properties around 14:00 on Saturday (12\/11). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bloemfontein police shot the animal after establishing that the boy had died from the alleged attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Olebogeng\u2019s mauling can be considered as adding to the list of children who have fallen prey to dog attacks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In August 2018, Leah Smartryk was mauled to death by a pitbull terrier at the Lewende Woord Church in Faan Ferreira Avenue, Bloemfontein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The little girl had apparently peeped over a wall into the neighbouring yard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
