Arts and theatre lovers will be treated to an artistic offering of a nostalgic journey to explore the meaning of home through song, dance, poetry and monologues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The concert aims at taking stakeholders and the creative industry on Pacofs\u2019 journey of becoming an iconic hub of performing arts in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Napo Masheane, the newly appointed artistic director, will direct and curate the concert. She is a multi-award-winning playwright, producer, director, curator and cultural activist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe concert is an artistic buffet served on stage from our kitchen table. It offers a nostalgic taste, smell, feel and sense of home through poetry, music, dance and drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTouching on memory pages from our childhood will also allow us to artistically dream ourselves anew,\u201d said Masheane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The line-up consists of numerous Free State artists, including the festival host, Scandal <\/span>actress Mapaseka Koetle, also known for her social media skits Moqoqo Friday<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFor me, this is a full-circle moment. I performed on the Pacofs stage during my high school days, and it was at that moment that I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI am confident that this initiative will ignite a passion for the arts, in the hearts of many Free State children,\u201d said Koetle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tickets to the event will be sold at R150 per person on webtickets.co.za, at Pacofs and
