Poets are invited to submit up to ten poems in any of South Africa\u2019s official languages relating to the theme \u201cI Wish I\u2019d Said . . .\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The judges will select some of the strongest poems for inclusion in a glossy coffee-table book, which also provides each poem\u2019s English translation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This competition is now in its seventh year, and the AVBOB Poetry Project hosts a website containing thousands of poems submitted since its inception. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This has resulted in a unique online archive, serving as a platform through which aspiring and established poets can improve their craft and connect with an audience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
