Graphic design and branding<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
Any product\u2019s visual identity can be elevated with expert graphic design and branding services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The PDTS was involved in the design, development, manu\u00adfacturing, branding and packaging of a rocket ship teething toy, <\/span>in collaboration and in support of Childline Free State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Engineering and design units combined efforts on behalf of the organisation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This 400-unit product run was a team effort within the units of the PDTS\u2019 advanced machining and tooling unit, and the graphic design and branding unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The PDTS has also created a unique corporate gift, a wine stopper, for clients and visitors \u2013 combining craftsmanship and technology. The process began with ideation and involved prototyping, manufacturing, and specialised packaging. The prototype was refined using SLA 3D printing technology, and tooling was created for injection moulding. The final prototype underwent rigorous quality inspections to ensure its quality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The wine stopper\u2019s packaging consists of a body, window and insert, creating a visually appealing and functional enclosure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The PDTS is proud to present this product as a corporate gift, showcasing commitment to quality and innovation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On the medical front, Flutter is a medical assistive device used to help clear mucus from the lungs in individuals with hyper\u00adsecretory lung disorders such as cystic fibrosis, chronic obstruc\u00adtive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchiectasis. Breathing out of the flutter device builds pressure up in your lungs, thus helping airways to open wide and allow air to get behind sputum and move it upwards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The vibrations transmitted through the chest wall by the steel ball in the device also assist with loosening the sputum from the sides of the airways, therefore improving breathing and reducing risks of infections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lastly, the PDTS designed and constructed the enclosure for the Ka-dah device for the visually impaired using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and FDM 3D printing during the prototype and testing stages, which is less expensive for testing purposes than injection moulding manufacturing.
