The Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein duly recognised the nurses for their dedication as the backbone of the health system and saving lives at its annual Life Healthcare G100 nurse event on Friday, 10 May. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This tied with International Nurses Day, annually observed on 12 May, a day acknowledging nurses\u2019 role, preserving the professionalism and giving recognition to the pioneer of the profession, Florence Nightingale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Messages from the hospital\u2019s executives, along with gifts and vouchers from Life Healthcare and the hospital were presented to the 340 staff. The highlight of the event saw two nurses, Tebello Duma and Frieda Lindeque, receive the special Life Healthcare G100 nurse award, presented annually to those chosen for their excelling that year. Duma is an enrolled nurse, and Lindeque a registered nurse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
