Inspired by back-to-back wins, the University of the Free State\u2019s (UFS) men\u2019s football team is hoping to ride that wave further into the Varsity Football competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team is looking to thwart the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) when they meet at Shimla Park on Thursday, 8 August. Kick-off is at 18:30. This will be the third round of the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Kovsie team\u2019s previous victories were against the North-West University (NWU) and the Durban University of Technology (DUT): 3 \u2013 1 and 1 \u2013 0, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Still undefeated, the local lads are to maintain the impressive run against the visitors. The University of Pretoria\u2019s (UP) Tuks is also still undefeated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tebogo Motsamai, UFS coach, is upbeat about the prospect of salvaging maximum points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are targeting three points, and we are ready for them. We are approaching the TUT like any important game,\u201d said Motsamai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
