BLOEMFONTEIN –<\/strong> Die saak waarin die Vrystaatse Hooggeregshof uitspraak moes lewer oor die Mangaung-metro se ontwikkeling tussen Lourierpark en Bloemdal, is Donderdag 5 Maart uitgestel en die tydelike uitspraak sal geldig bly tot die volgende verskyning op 16 April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit volg op onderhandelings tussen die DA in Mangaung en die metro wat nie tot ‘n werkbare oplossing tussen die twee partye kon lei nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greg van Noord, DA-wyksraadslid, s\u00ea die DA dring aan op insae in al die goedkeurings, proklamasies, ontwikkelingsplanne, begunstigdes en magtigings van die aktiwiteite by Lourierpark<\/a>. “Ons wil toesien dat die metro ontwikkeling binne die wet doen om veilige, waardige leeftoestande vir inwoners te verseker,” s\u00ea Van Noord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Van Noord s\u00ea die DA het ‘n ooreenkoms gesoek wat die ontwikkeling van die grond sou toelaat om voort te gaan, maar slegs onder streg en wettige voorwaardes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Dit sluit in die behoorlike installasie van noodsaaklike munisipale dienste voordat enigeen op die grond gevestig mag word. Daar moet ook ‘n ten volle deursigtige diensvlak-ooreenkoms met die verantwoordelike kontrakteurs wees,” s\u00ea hy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ongelukkig kon ‘n ooreenkoms oor hierdie voorwaardes nie bereik word nie, hoewel die partye bereid is om die bespreking gedurende die uitstelperiode voort te sit. Behuisingsintervensies moet wettige beplanning, betroubare basiese dienste, en die gesondheid en veiligheid van inwoners prioritiseer. Om mense toe te laat om op grond te vestig sonder voldoende water, sanitasie, elektrisiteit en behoorlike infrastruktuur, is nie net onwettig nie, maar stel ook kwesbare inwoners in gevaar.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Van Noord s\u00ea wanneer munisipaliteite versuim om ontwikkelings behoorlik te beplan, is die gevolge onveilige lewensomstandighede, infrastruktuur wat in duie stort omdat dit onder druk verkeer en omliggende gemeenskappe wat ‘n afname dienslewering ondervind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ons soek volle toegang tot alle rekords en dokumentasie van beplande ontwikkelings van residensi\u00eble ontwikkelings in Mangaung.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy s\u00ea dit is bemoedigend dat verteenwoordigers van die metro aangedui het dat hulle bereid is om toegang tot hierdie rekords te bied as deel van pogings om ‘n werkbare skikking te bereik. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die DA ondersoek ook interne toegewings wat ten gunste van die metro gemaak is nadat die DA se aansoek beteken is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Die DA glo dat verantwoordelike behuisingsontwikkelingsgeleenthede en waardigheid geskep moet word terwyl gemeenskappe beskerm en bevoordeel word. Behoorlik beplande ontwikkelings ondersteun ekonomiese aktiwiteit, skep werk tydens konstruksie, bevoordeel plaaslike gemeenskappe, en verseker dat woonbuurte groei op ‘n wyse wat veiligheid, stabiliteit en dienslewering versterk.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Van Noord s\u00ea om kortpad te vat be\u00efnvloed mense se lewens. “Om polities gerieflike oplossings te soek vir uitdagings, is onaanvaarbaar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ons sal voortgaan om beslissend op te tree om inwoners te beskerm, wettige bestuur te te eis, en daarop aan te dring dat Mangaung betroubare dienste aan gemeenskappe lewer.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
