Die bestuurder van die bakkie wat op 24 Januarie betrokke was in die ongeluk waarin drie leerders van die Dr. C.F. Visserskool dood is, Tristan Kearney (20), het op Dinsdag 2 Desember in die Bloemfonteinse streekhof verskyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twee boeties, Ryan (6) en Ayden (8) Smit, en hul niggie Lean\u00e9 van Papendorp (8) is in die botsing by die verkeerslig op die N8 by die Aljos Superspar buite Bloemfontein dood. Ryan en Lean\u00e9 is op slag dood, en Ayden is later die dag van die ongeluk in die Busamed-hospitaal oorlede toe sy hart ‘n tweede keer gaan staan het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die bakkie het gebots teen die rooi Chevrolet Spark waarin Lean\u00e9 se ma, Adri Jonck, die kinders skool toe geneem het.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kearney het verskyn op drie aanklagte van strafbare manslag, een van roekelose en nalatige bestuur, die verontagsaming van ‘n padverkeersteken, asook die oortreding van regulasies wat betrekking het op die aantal mense wat hy met di\u00e9 voertuig kon vervoer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaydene Davids van Netwerk24 berig dat Kearney aanvanklik op 3 Desember in die hof sou verskyn; maar sy regsverteenwoordiger, adv. Allen Simpson, het die hof vroe\u00ebr genader aangesien hy nie Woensdag beskikbaar was nie. Volgens Simpson is daar geen sinistere rede vir die versoek dat die saak Dinsdag aangehoor is nie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Streekslanddros Rasheed Matthews het Kearney se verhoor tot 21 Januarie uitgestel. Hy sal dan na verwagting op die aanklagte teen hom pleit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
