Die Vrystaatse departement van onderwys het onderneem om permanente strukture op te rig op die terrein in Langenhovenpark wat vir ‘n skool geoormerk is.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dulandi Leech, die DA se woordvoerder oor onderwys in die Vrystaatse wetgewer, s\u00ea die departementshoof van onderwys in die Vrystaat, Adv. Tsoarelo Malakoane, het tydens ‘n portefeuljekomitee-vergadering in die wetgewer bevestig dat die department sal begroot vir die konstruksie van ‘n permanente skool<\/a> eerder as om tydelike klaskamers op te rig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leech s\u00ea daar is nog geen tydsraamwerk vir die oprigting van die skool nie, maar die bevestiging sal vir inwoners van Langenhovenpark meer gerusstelling gee dat ‘n goeie skool in die vooruitsig gestel word.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die departement het hom ook op die vergadering verbind tot die prioritisering van langtermyn-oplossings vir die onderwys-uitdagings van hierdie vinnig ontwikkelende gemeenskap.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sy s\u00ea 400 kinders wat hulle vir die nuwe skool ingeskryf het, word reeds gehuisves in ander skole in die stad.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malakoane het ook onderneem om met die Mangaung-metro op te volg oor die uitvoering van ‘n opgedateerde impakstudie.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Die vorige studie is in 1980 gedoen toe hierdie terrein vir ‘n skool geoormerk is. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Langenhovenpark se erwe was destyds 3 000m\u00b2, maar baie daarvan is onderverdeel en talle meenthuise is sedertdien gebou. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Die woonbuurt het ook uitgebrei met talle winkelsentrums en ondernemings en verder ontwikkel na Spitskop se kant toe. Die destydse riolering sal moet aangepas word,” s\u00ea sy. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Met onlangse ontwikkelings moes spesifieke rioolpype vervang word, so ons verwag aanpassings in die impakstudie.”\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jan-Hendrik Cronje, DA-wyksraads-lid vir Langenhovenpark, s\u00ea hulle is dankbaar dat die heining opgerig is omdat dit talle probleme met misdaad help bekamp. Dit is ook nou afgehandel. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Daar is dikwels projekte in die ruimtelike ontwikkelingsplan wat die metro nie enduit deurgevoer het nie. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ek is dus dankbaar dat die druk wat toegepas was, gelei het tot die suksesvolle eerste fase van die ontwikkeling van die skool,” s\u00ea Cornje.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hy s\u00ea die oprigting van ‘n permanente skool is positief vir inwoners van Langenhovenpark en omliggende gemeenskappe wat al lank vra vir ‘n skool vir die kinders in die woonbuurt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
