She has been the host of the Varsity Football tournament at the UFS since 2021, bringing a vibrant and engaging presence to campus sports events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adding further prestige to the evening, Paralympic medallist Louzanne Coetzee, who won three medals at the games and was crowned both Sportswoman and Sport Star of the Year in 2023, will serve as this year\u2019s keynote speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 9 October, at Monte Bello Estate, just outside Bloemfontein. The proceedings are scheduled to commence at 18:00 for 18:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now in its eighth year, the Sport Star of the Year Awards continues to honour outstanding athletes and contributors to sport in the Free State. The event is jointly hosted by the UFS and Novus Media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tickets are available at R480 per person or R4 800 for a table of ten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
