This year’s Spring Half Marathon organised by the Bloemfontein-based Centre City Titaniums Athletics Club is scheduled for Saturday, 7 September.
It is staged under the auspices of Athletics Free State (AFS) and supported by the Windmill Casino. The partnership with the casino follows the success of the previous two instalments.
The sporting event makes provision for runners to take on 5 km, 10 km or 21,1 km.
Entry costs R80, R140 and R180, respectively.
The starting times are: the 21,1 km race at 06:30; the 10 km race at 06:45; and the 5 km race at 07:00. All three races start and end at the casino.
Temporary Athletics South Africa (ASA) licences, for the 10 km and 21,1 km, cost R50.
