The South African Mathematics Foundation (SAMF) is calling on schools to register for this year’s South African Mathematics Challenge (SAMC) and the South African Mathematics Olympiad (Samo).
Registration closes on 28 February.
These competitions, which are integral to the SAMF’s mission, provide a platform for learners to display their mathematical prowess and critical thinking abilities.
The SAMC, in its 47th year, caters to primary school learners in Gr. 4 to Gr. 7 and has been scheduled to start on 11 March.
The olympiad, supported by Old Mutual and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica), is for high school learners and will begin on 14 March.
