It is almost time for the 21st Vista Mediclinic Road Race in Welkom, scheduled for 25 August.
“There are lots of prizes to be won and excitement await participants,” says Hilde du Plessis, race convenor.
The annual road race caters to everyone, with a children’s race of 1,5 km; a race for runners seven to 15 years old (entry fee R30); a Masters 60+ race (entry fee R50); a 5 km Fun Run only for women (entry fee R70); and the new open 5 km for men and women – a challenge to take up with friends and family members.
Entries can be completed manually at the designated entry sites or runners can enter online on entryninja.com.
Entries can also be done on 22, 23 and 24 August at Virgin Active in Welkom, from 14:00 to 19:00, and on the day of the event at Virgin Active from 09:00, until 15 minutes before the start of the race – at Mediclinic Welkom.
