Lanky marathoner Lereko Naile of the Centre City Titaniums Athletics Club in Bloemfontein at the finishing line of the Mimosa Mall Marathon’s 42km race on Saturday 28 February. He achieved a personal best time that is also a 2026 Comrades Marathon qualifying time. Naile was unchallenged, leading tough contenders by more than 2km to complete the marathon hosted as part of this year’s event, of which all categories attracted 3 500 participants.
