The Road Accident Fund (RAF) will host a four-day outreach service programme to facilitate claims and address issues regarding claims. The term block settlement initiative will be held at the Bon Hotel Bloemfontein Central from 14 to 17 August.
Services will be provided on a first come, first served basis during this trial and non-trial flagship initiative by the RAF.
Ernest Nkuna, spokesperson for the RAF, said the outreach initiative was a commitment by the agency, dubbing 2023 as the Year of the Claimant.
He said the focus would be on matters lodged and administered in Pretoria (Menlyn RAF office), and summonses issued out of the Free State jurisdiction for the Northern Cape division of the High Court.
The agency will have representatives to assist clients during the service programme.
