Ranked among the top in the World Fitness Federation (WFF), Bloemfontein-based body builder Moeketsi “Max” Mosese (42) is following on his international success in Indonesia during 2022.

The federation has selected the award-winning body builder to represent South Africa in three international competitions.

Two events are outside of Africa: the WFF Asia Pacific in the Philippines on 1 September, and the WFF Universe in Las Vegas, America, on 20 October.

The third is continental, the WFF African League of Champions in Zambia on 30 November.

Mosese earned himself a ticket to compete in the three events following another impressive display at this year’s WFF South Africa Bloem Classic Men’s and Women Championship final staged in Bloemfontein in April, during the Bloem Show.

He competed in the masters category for men over 40 years.

On his international debut in 2022, Mosese finished third overall in the denim jeans modelling category. He was rewarded with a bronze medal plus a floating trophy.

The ambitious fellow from Mangaung showed off his muscles among the 120 body builders who competed in more than 40 categories.

In the event at Bloem Show, he continued his showing of 2022, attaining first position in the denim jeans modelling category, and third in the fitness category.

Mosese has also been chosen to compete in the WFF South African Championship to be held in Pretoria in August.
