Fans of iconic award-winning singers Whitney Houston and Tina Turner can look forward to an enthralling rendition of 1999 when two stars share the stage in Bloemfontein.

The two singers collaborated on stage at VH-1’s Divas Live ’99.

Houston, often referred to as “The Voice,” and Turner, called the “Queen of Rock ’n Roll,” both showcased powerful vocals that enchanted audiences during the 80s and 90s.

South African bred Talitha Luiters and Ramaine Barreiro-Lloyd will perform Cape Town Divas Tribute to Whitney Houston and Tina Turner at the Windmill Casino on 27 December. Talitha will hit the high notes of Houston, while Ramaine will rock Turner.

Talitha has been performing since she was three years old, and made her television debut in 2017 on SABC’s Expresso.

She recently performed the national anthem at the Spinning Championship Launch Gala Dinner in Cape Town.

Ramaine began her performing career at the age of five, and featured in her first major production, Bugsy Malone, when she was nine.

She teamed up with Emo Adams, Alistair Izobell, and Luqmaan Adams to create the group Nu Fancy when she was 12 and toured South Africa alongside The Rockets and PJ Powers before recording an album.

Her adaptability allows her to perform across various genres, including R&B, jazz, and rock ’n roll.
