The Dr J.S. Moroka Hospital in Thaba Nchu in August cherished a centenarian granny celebrating a milestone birthday.
Rosina Liefo blew out many birthday candles to celebrate turning 102 on 3 August, at a special event hosted at the hospital.
The hospital celebrated her being the oldest patient under its care.
Liefo has been referred to this hospital after undergoing a successful operation at the Pelonomi Regional Hospital in Bloemfontein.
She is reportedly recovering well after the surgery.
Monyatso Mahlatsi, Free State MEC for Health, has expressed his appreciation for the care and love the centenarian has been receiving to ensure her full recovery and return to health.
