A five-a-side football tournament provided youths of the Botshabelo township, Section D, the opportunity to participate in community sport.
Known as the WinGo Easter Championship, the event saw 16 clubs compete on a knockout basis for the right to claim prize monies, as well as gold, silver and bronze medals.
Two teams walked home with the spoils of victory: Eloi FC scooped the second prize of R300, and Royal Family won the R500 first prize.
This is a joint initiative of the Botshabelo-based WinGo Projects and Poetric Projects Theatre, aimed at encouraging youth activism within the community.
