Women’s exploration of the entertainment industry can be observed in the stage production Booty Call.

It will premiere at Pacofs, studio 2, from Thursday, 7 March, until Saturday.

Music reveals the inner emotional life of the female characters in this engaging satirical drama, the three exotic dancers Lola, Coco and Diamond.

In this production, the dancers take things to another level to rescue Booty Call, the nightclub where they all work and have formed a sisterhood at, from closing down.

The nightclub owner, Stella, receives a letter informing her about the club’s foreclosure. Business has not been good, and it has been a while since they have changed things up.

As soon as Stella tells the girls about the bad news, they take it upon themselves to save the club, because their livelihood depend on it.

Throughout their journey, they discover that they are capable of rising above the stereotypical stigma surrounding exotic dancers and the role that women play in society.
