A wonderful build-up to the festive season awaits families with the annual Carols with the Stars concert on Friday, 10 November.
People can enjoy Christmas carols under the summer night sky on the sports field of the Willem Postma Primary School in Bloemfontein.
The artists for this year’s event are top-quality local performers including Tharo (Thabo Hlongwane, Jacobus Silwer and Mario Lategan) and Cézanne Yzelle. They will be accompanied by The Rhapsody Orchestra.
Audience members stand a chance to win one of three shopping vouchers. The first-prize voucher is worth R50 000, the second R30 000 and the third R20 000.
To be part of the draw for these prizes, buy groceries to the value of R200 or more at Pick n Pay Preller Walk before 9 November and put the till slip in the specially marked boxes at this Pick n Pay. Entrants should write their name and surname, ID number and cellphone number on the slip.
Those who enter need to attend the concert to claim their prize, should their till slip be drawn on the night.
There is no entry fee; instead, non-perishable food and dog food is collected for charity. Gates open at 17:00
