BLOEMFONTEIN: A budding rugby star from Bloemfontein, Oleboheng Salomane (18), who is a Gr.12 learner at the Sand du Plessis High School, has been offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to tour England and Wales during December holiday. The winger is among a group of 23 boys selected for this international trip aimed at offering future stars exposure.

The cost of the return flight is R57 990 and is subject to change should the number of players who can make the trip decrease.

The tour will see the South African group of players participate in a series of matches in Wales and England from 3 to 12 December.

Oleboheng was chosen for this invitational international tour together with his peers during this year’s VKB U19 Rugby Week, staged in Reitz during June. They were selected on merit − based on their consistent performances during the annual development tournament. Oleboheng was part of the Kiewiete U19 high school team that participated in this tournament.

To offer him support in embracing his dream of making the trip to England and Wales, benefactors can call Thakane Salomane on 083 395 3129.
