Braving circumstances in which he could easily give into a state of despair, wheelchair user Thapelo Khooane courageously traverses the trying terrain of a badly damaged section of road that is forever flooded with raw sewage spillages. On Thursday (20/07) Khooane was navigating this section of road itself, as he had no other option due to residents living along this road having closed off the pedestrian section alongside it with stones to thwart motorists who, in turn, have been forced to drive on the pedestrian section.Photo: Teboho Setena
