High-performing students with aspirations to study at university are invited to apply for a bursary programme for the next academic year.
The Shoprite Group has launched the application process for candidates who would like to study towards a degree in the following fields: logistics and supply chain, criminology, information technology (IT), accounting, retail business management and food science.
The bursary covers tuition fees, on-campus accommodation and a grocery allowance, and guarantees employment upon graduation.
Candidates can apply by going to shopriteholdings.co.za, and then clicking on “Careers” at the top of the page. Scroll down to “Youth opportunities” and click on “Learn more”. The third option on the next page that opens up, is “Bursary opportunities”.
The application process closes on 30 September. The deadline for applications will not be extended and no late applications will be accepted.
