After Tears, an African contemporary drama-dance production, will premiere at Pacofs Studio 2 from 11 to 13 May, at 18:30.
The play explores the narrative of women and queer men prone to threats due to their sexuality and identity.
The production, rated PG16, is aimed at young men, women and the LGBTQI+ community to catalyse change regarding gender-based violence (GBV).
The performance portrays the obstacles they face and overcome. The production is directed by Zane Muller and S?rvane Lewane. Casts featured are Mpai Thekiso, Boipelo Monnamorwe, Courtenay Oliphant, Teddy-B Mhlambi, Elrico Plaatjies and Tyra Ismail.
