This year’s instalment of the Hae Lapeng concert will feature various performing artists to amaze the crowd. Acts range from music and dance, to drama and poetry.

The event will take place at the Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (Pacofs) in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 30 March. Headliners include Free State born and bred soulful singer Presss, African-American songstress Tamara Dey, Jenniffer Johns and Damon Turner all prolific all-round artists and music producers.

The concert aims to bring nostalgia to audiences who miss the essence of being at home, and is the flagship concert directed by Napo Masheane, artistic director at Pacofs. She is on her own right a seasoned theatre-maker, playwright, poet, and producer. This year’s edition aims to build on the high standard of last year with an industrial picture frame theme and a more classical look.

Tickets are selling at R150 per person at Pacofs. Enter the competition on Express’ Facebook page to win.
