Pioneering female entrepreneurs will continue exploring innovations to unleash their full potential at the EmpowerHER Luncheon set to take place at Bloemfontein’s Urth Café on Saturday, 26 October.

Open for like-minded women pursuing entrepreneurship, the event’s theme is “Unleash your Power”, which is inspired by aspirations to strengthen entrepreneurship as the cornerstone of the economy.

The forthcoming session follows the success of those held in Johannesburg during August.

Trailblazers in attendance will range from community leaders to entrepreneurs and advocates, who will have innovative dialogue to foster women’s empowerment and leadership.

“The EmpowerHER Luncheon is not just an event; it is a movement toward building a stronger, more inclusive community,” said Kamogelo Seekoei, organiser.

“It will guide discussions on key topics – overcoming barriers to success and building thriving businesses, health and wellness for working women, and the importance of mentorship,” said Kamogelo Seekoei, organiser.

She has left her footprint in the entrepreneurial sphere as the founding editor of the Ignited Woman magazine.

Seekoei said distinguished speakers with a strong background in entrepreneurship would address the audience. The guests include midwife and international speaker Sebabatso Tsaoane; FNB area manager Nohlanhla Makhubu; and renowned businesswomen S’busisiwe Buska Sithebe, Tumelo Rathobei and Tshepiso Modisenyane. These women are recognised for their contributions to women’s rights and community development.

“Gatherings like the EmpowerHER Luncheon that focus on empowerment can be a catalyst for change, enabling women to navigate through unique challenges. This is a platform for sharing stories and resources, as well as emphasising the importance of solidarity among women,” said Seekoei.
