THABA NCHU – Three Fashion World customers – one from Thaba Nchu, one from Kimberley, and one from Middelburg – have each won R100 000 cash in the retailer’s latest nationwide Scratch and Win competition.

Fashion World is renowned not only for specialising in affordable, on-trend clothing and footwear for women and children, but also for its regular promotional campaigns and major scratch card competitions.

Nthabiseng Jane Mokhele-Chabeli became the first-ever Scratch and Win winner to hail from Thaba Nchu and was overwhelmed with joy upon receiving her prize.

The Fashion World Thaba Nchu branch in the Shoprite Centre, led by acting manager Mpho Nthoba and her team, made Saturday 31 January’s presentation a special and festive occasion.

The competition ran from 19 November to 24 December, with the three in-store winners announced on 15 January.

Philiswa Jack claimed victory in Kimberley, whilst Nomalaka Evelyn Nkosi represented Middelburg.

To participate in the competition, customers needed to spend R300 or more in-store to receive a scratch card for each R300 spent.

“When scratching the card there and then, you could win R300 on the spot and also be entered for the main Scratch and Win prize,” explains Naeem Patel, regional manager. Patel says the initiative demonstrates Fashion World’s gratitude to customers for their loyalty whilst giving back to the community and empowering people.
